I Like to use Italian Buttercream for all my Cakes. It has a wonderfully smooth texture, it's not too sweet and  ...my buttercream tasted good, milky and have a good smell  too. And very important is my buttercream not easily melt but it melted in your mouth! SO YOU  SHOULD TRY AND TASTE IT!
